360° jewelry photography · 360 jewellery photography

360° jewelry photography that shows every angle.

A single still cannot show how a ring catches the light or how a pendant hangs. A rotating 360° view can. ALO captures spin views and video automatically, from the same positions, for every piece in your catalogue.

Why 360°

Why 360° views work for jewelry.

Jewelry is bought with the eyes. Customers want to see the setting from the side, the height of the stone, the way a chain falls and how light plays across the metal. A 360° view or a short rotating video answers those questions without a showroom visit.

The challenge is production. Shooting a rotation by hand means moving the piece and the light, frame after frame, and then fixing every inconsistency in editing. That does not scale beyond a handful of references.

  • Show the piece from every side, not only the front
  • Let customers judge size, proportions and brilliance
  • Reuse the same capture for web, social media and catalogues
  • Keep every product in the collection shot the same way
How it works

How ALO captures 360° jewelry spins.

In ALO Photo Sphere an internal turntable and a spherical rotation are both managed by the software. Four fixed camera positions cover the technical top view, the perspective view, the front view and hanging items, so the piece never has to be repositioned by hand.

ALO Photo Tube brings the same idea to a portable studio: controlled lighting, an integrated turntable with automatic 360° rotation controlled from ALO App, and your smartphone as camera and remote control.

You choose the number of shots and positions; the result can be a sequence of photos or a video ready to share.

  • Seven turntables for different looks: matte or glossy, white or black, translucent, transparent and a dedicated one for hanging earrings and necklaces
  • Light profiles stored in ALO App and reused across similar products
  • Video creator and presentations for 4K clips of each sample

Questions

360° jewelry photography: frequently asked questions.

What is 360 jewelry photography?

It is a way of photographing a piece while it rotates on a turntable, so the customer can see it from all sides as an interactive spin or a video. The same spelling variants apply: 360 jewellery photography is the UK form.

How many photos does a 360° spin need?

The number of shots is configurable. More frames give a smoother rotation; fewer frames keep files lighter. ALO App lets you choose positions, angles and shot counts for each session.

Can I shoot 360° jewelry video as well as photos?

Yes. ALO Photo Sphere and ALO Photo Tube capture photos and video from the same setup, and ALO App can prepare presentations and 4K clips.

Do I need photography experience?

No. The system is controlled from ALO App and can be used by professionals, amateurs and operators with no photography experience.
