ALO is a brand of Doma Automation SRL, based in Arezzo, in the heart of Italy. Since 1997 we have been building the hardware, software and intelligence behind product digitization.
How ALO began
A practical problem, not a plan.
A customer working with jewelry management software needed photographs imported into the ERP while keeping a precise relationship between the physical object and its digital representation.
Every product had to stay at a true 1:1 scale between the physical object and its digital image.
An image only becomes valuable when it is correctly connected to the process around it.
The recurring method
The products changed. The method stayed the same.

The founder's path
Twenty years at Flexline, then a different direction.
Marco Carboni spent close to twenty years at Flexline, growing from a role outside programming to partner and chairman, before choosing to leave and build ALO independently. The same instinct still shapes ALO today: taking on difficult technical and entrepreneurial challenges before their value is fully visible.
